I have been working for the Hearing Support Service since Easter 2010 and recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Deaf Education. I have been interested in supporting deaf children for as long as I can remember. My brother has had a hearing loss since he was born which wasn’t diagnosed until his last year at secondary school, and my in-laws were both profoundly deaf and BSL users.
